Chart notes:
British musician Romy Madley Croft (known professionally as Romy) takes over the #1 spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Enjoy Your Life", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. Romy (who's from London, England) has appeared on this chart as the guitarist for The XX, but this is her first solo appearance. The track is from her first solo album Mid Air, which peaked at #15 on the U.K. albums chart. She's also written songs for other LGBTQ artists, including King Princess and Halsey. Over the past three days, the video for "Enjoy Your Life" has gained an additional 50,849 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 3.83% since the weekend's chart).

Four videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including returns from two former #1 hits: American rock quintet The Scarlet Opera (from Los Angeles, California) rebounds back up 6 places to #8 with "Riot" and Canadian singer Alexander Stewart (from Toronto, Ontario) moves back up 3 positions to #10 with "Leave Me in the Dark". Turkish singer/songwriter Mabel Matiz is climbing 11 notches to #6 with "Aferin". They're joined in the Top 10 by Spanish singer/dancer Lola Indigo, who's leaping ahead 12 spots to #7 with "El Tonto".

Nine songs fall off the chart to make way for nine new songs. The midweek chart features 9 debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., Germany, Romania, and South Korea:
  • Felix Jaehn (from Germany)
  • Chris Housman (from Kansas, U.S.A.)
  • Muna (from California, U.S.A.)
  • Roxen (from Romania)
  • Durand Bernarr (from Ohio, U.S.A.)
  • Joy Oladokun (from Arizona, U.S.A.)
  • Lauren Jauregui (from Florida, U.S.A.)
  • MkX (from Massachusetts, U.S.A.)
  • Xikers (from South Korea)

Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
