Chart notes:
Former drag queen Conchita Wurst received the most votes this week for "Hit Me", and those extra points have helped to push the video into the #1 slot on the LGBT chart. Conchita first rose to international fame after winning the Eurovision song contest for Austria in 2014, and is scheduled to perform live at this year's Eurovision finals in Tel Aviv.

The remainder of the Top Five this week are: New Zealand band Openside (rising 5 places to #2), Dutch singer Duncan Laurence (falling 2 spots to #3), Russian duo N.E.F.O.R.M.A.T (rebounding 8 notches to #4), and American singer Gia Woods (moving up 4 spots to #5).

Six songs fell off the countdown this week to make way for six new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Buzina" by Pabllo Vittar, coming in at #42. The Brazilian singer last appeared on my chart in November, with the videos for "Disk Me" and "Problema Seu". Pabllo was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2018 (for Best Urban Fusion Performance, for the single "Sua Cara" which she recorded with Major Lazer & Anitta), which makes her the very first Grammy-nominated drag queen.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from: (1) last week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube and the percentage of increase in views from one week to the next, (4) my votes, and (5) any votes I've received by Thursday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
