Chart notes:
Ukrainian musician Max Barskih takes over the #1 spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend with "Stomach Butterflies", moving up 2 more places from the midweek's #3 position. The track is the first single from Max's upcoming English-language album. The clip portrays young Ukrainians who are going on with their lives and daring to fall in love amidst the horrors of war. Max shared on social media: "Even under constant attacks, through pain and loss, our people keep moving forward. They're chasing their dreams, loving, and building their future. I want the world to see that strength." Over the past half-week, the video for "Stomach Butterflies" has gained an additional 231,711 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 8.51% since the midweek's chart!).
Three videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend. German DJ/producer Felix Jaehn climbs 5 notches to #6 with his remix of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right But It's Okay". American R&B singer TheArti$t (from Newark, New Jersey) rises 4 spots to #9 with "Ghost". They're joined in the Top Ten by French singer/songwriter Jérémy Frérot, who's moving up 5 more places to #10 with "Avec ou Sans".
Seven songs fall off the chart to make way for seven new songs. The weekend chart features 7 debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., Belgium, Chile, Thailand, and Argentina:
- Miley Cyrus (from Tennessee, USA)
- Dressed Like Boys (from Belgium)
- Vesta Lugg (from Chile)
- Jrbubblegum (from Thailand)
