Chart notes:
Transgender British musician Dylan And The Moon (whose real name is Dylan Holloway) scores his very first #1 song on the LGBT chart at midweek with "Heaven Now", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. Formerly known as Lots Holloway, Dylan has been re-recording some of his old songs and even duetting with his former self after transitioning. Dylan wanted his fans to be able to hear the difference in his voice after his gender transition, having originally released "Heaven Now" in 2019. He's also working on some brand-new music which will be coming out soon. Over the past three days, the video for "Heaven Now" has gained an additional 207 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 8.88% since the weekend's chart!).

Two videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. British singer/songwriter Tom Aspaul (from Wolverhampton, England) climbs 6 notches to #6 with "Thessaloniki". He's joined in the Top 10 by American singer Tayla Parx (from Dallas, Texas), who's moving up 4 more spots to #7 with "Flowers".

Nine songs fall off the chart to make way for nine new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" by American musician/actress Pink, entering the chart at #32. Pink (who's originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania) doesn't define her sexual orientation, telling The Advocate in 2012 that she "never felt the need to" and that she prefers to remain "label-less". She's been a tireless advocate for LGBTQ equality since the very beginning of her career (more than two decades ago) and has achieved the status of gay icon with her androgynous gender-bending aesthetic and her unwavering convictions as an LGBTQ ally. Over the past half-week, the video for "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" has gained an additional 306,853 YouTube views (which is an increase of 1.81% over the previous chart period).

Further down the chart, we have 8 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Brazil, the U.S.A., Norway, Chile, Canada, and Mexico:
  • Girl In Red (from Norway)
  • Corvyx and King Vagabond (both from New York, USA)
  • Pabllo Vittar and Gloria Groove (both from Brazil)
  • Carlie Hanson (from Wisconsin, USA)
  • Una Típica Francisca (from Chile)
  • Shawnee Kish (from Alberta, Canada)
  • Samo (from Mexico)
  • Uni And The Urchins (from New York, USA)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
