Chart notes:
There wasn't much movement at the very top of the LGBT chart at midweek, as the top three videos all held onto their same positions as on the weekend's chart. Spanish singer Pablo Alborán stayed at #1 with "Carretera Y Manta", followed by English artist Jessie Ware at #2 with "Free Yourself" and American actor/singer Joshua Bassett at #3 with "Smoke Slow". It will be difficult for Pablo to hang onto #1 through the weekend, as all of the Top 5 videos are strong contenders for that #1 spot. Over the past three days, the video for "Carretera Y Manta" has gained an additional 113,990 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 4.75% over the weekend's chart).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. German singer/songwriter Lena Meyer-Landrut climbs 5 notches to #7 with "Looking For Love". Chilean singer Kevin Vásquez also rises 5 spots to #8 with his Spanish-language cover of The Weeknd's "Out Of Time". They're joined in the Top 10 by American singer Fletcher (from Wall Township, New Jersey), who's moving up one more place to #10 with "Becky's So Hot".

Eleven songs fall off the chart to make way for eleven new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Far Away" by American model/singer Mark Tuan, entering the chart at #38. Mark (who's originally from Arcadia, California) is a member of Korean boy-band GOT7, and he's fluent in four languages (English, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese). The track is from Mark's first solo full-length studio album (entitled The Other Side), which was released on August 26th. Over the past half-week, the video for "Far Away" has gained an additional 156,974 YouTube views (which is a huge increase of 6.16% over the previous chart period!).

Further down the chart, we have 10 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., Ukraine, Finland, Canada, Australia, and England:
  • Rilan (from Louisiana, USA)
  • Artem Pivovarov (from Ukraine)
  • Hayley Kiyoko (from California, USA)
  • Alma (from Finland)
  • Scotty Dynamo (from Ontario, Canada)
  • Jake Wesley Rogers (from Missouri, USA)
  • Jeffrey Chan (from Australia)
  • Omar Apollo (from Indiana, USA)
  • Ezra Furman (from Illinois, USA)
  • Gia Ford (from England, UK)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
