Chart notes:
British singer/songwriter Rina Sawayama gets her first #1 on the LGBT chart this week, as "Comme des Garçons (Like the Boys)" moves up one notch to claim the top spot. Born in Japan, she moved to London with her family when she was just five years old. Rina came out as bisexual in 2018 during an interview with Broadly and added, "I've always written songs about girls. I don't think I've ever mentioned a guy in my songs." She's has also released a remix of this track that features Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar.

Eight songs fell off the chart this week to make way for seven new songs and one re-entry. The highest debut of the week was "Hasta Que Tú Me Quieras" by Colombian singer/songwriter Esteman, entering the chart at #30. Esteman (whose real name is Esteban Mateus Williamson) has toured extensively throughout South America, as well as performing in the USA and Mexico. He's been nominated twice at the Latin Grammy Awards in the United States.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in YouTube views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
