Chart notes:
American singer/songwriter Omar Apollo (from Hobart, Indiana) captures the #1 spot on the LGBT chart at midweek with "Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All)", climbing 4 more notches from the weekend's #5 position. The song was released as the 8th single off Omar's debut album Ivory after it went viral on TikTok and also saw a spike in streaming after he performed it for NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, which in turn led to an increase in radio airplay. According to SoundCharts, the track has reached the Top 10 on the official charts of 87 different countries and has gone to #1 in 16 of them (the U.S.A., Israel, Anguilla, Jamaica, Niue, France, Luxembourg, Australia, the U.K., Italy, Eswatini, Gambia, Canada, New Zealand, Iceland, and Portugal). It's gotten as high as #7 on The SoundCharts Global Streaming Chart and #59 on The Billboard Global 200 Chart. Over the past half-week, the video for "Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All)" has gained an additional 14,339,524 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 4.61% since the weekend's chart).

Four videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: American singer/songwriter Pink (from Doylestown, Pennsylvania) rebounds back up 7 positions to #10 with "Never Gonna Not Dance Again". British musician Benedict Cork (from Hertfordshire, England) climbs 11 notches to #3 with "Dream of You". Japanese quintet Tokyo Gegegay leaps ahead 14 places to #6 with "Kamomegatondahi". They're joined in the Top 10 by Ukrainian musician Artem Pivovarov, who's moving up 9 spots to #9 with "Tam U Topoli".

Six songs fall off the chart to make way for six new songs. The midweek chart features 6 debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the USA, and Chile:
  • White Lies (from England, U.K.)
  • Reindr (from Chile)
  • Brockhampton (from Texas, U.S.A.)
  • Kailee Morgue (from Arizona, U.S.A.)
  • Quarry (from England, U.K.)
  • Jake Wesley Rogers (from Missouri, U.S.A.)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
