Chart notes:
American supergroup Boygenius (which is comprised of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus) reaches the #1 spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Not Strong Enough", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. The song's lyrics touch on issues like mental illness and its resultant relationship dysfunction. The video shows the trio enjoying time together in various locations around Los Angeles with an uplifting atmosphere, which starkly contrasts against the track's dark lyrics. The single spent seven weeks at #1 on The Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay Chart, which is the first #1 for Boygenius on any chart published by Billboard Magazine. Over the past three days, the video for "Not Strong Enough" has gained an additional 440,586 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 12.08% since the weekend's chart!).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: Belgian musician Oscar And The Wolf rebounds back up 2 places to #10 with "Warrior". Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Kany García climbs 7 notches to #6 with "Supe Que Eras Para Mí". They're joined in the Top 10 by Spanish singer/dancer Lola Indigo, who's leaping ahead 11 spots to #9 with "La Santa".

Six songs fall off the chart to make way for six new songs. The midweek chart features 6 debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the U.S.A., Spain, and Canada:
  • Miss Caffeina (from Spain)
  • Jade LeMac (from British Columbia, Canada)
  • Victoria Monét (from California, U.S.A.)
  • Wrabel (from Texas, U.S.A.)
  • Virgin X (originally from Oregon, U.S.A. & now residing in England, U.K.)
  • Patrick Wolf (from England, U.K.)

Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
