Chart notes:
It's rare that a video spends two non-consecutive weeks at #1 on Tad's LGBT Music Chart, but Australian musician Hollie Col accomplishes that feat this weekend with "Two Step Plan". The song reached #1 on this chart three weeks ago, and now it has returned to the top spot by moving up 2 places from the midweek's #3 position. Over the past four days, the video for "Two Step Plan" has gained an additional 129,053 views on YouTube (which is a massive increase of 13.08% since the midweek's chart!).

Three videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend. Venezuelan/Spanish singer La Cruz and Puerto Rican rapper Villano Antillano climb 7 notches to #8 with "Privado". American rapper/singer Lil Peep (from Long Beach, New York) rises 3 spots to #9 with "Latitude". They're joined in the Top Ten by Ukrainian musicians Artem Pivovarov and Max Barskih, who are leaping ahead 11 places to #10 with "Tak Nikhto Ne Kokhav".

Seven songs fall off the chart to make way for seven new songs. The weekend chart features 7 debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A. and Italy:
  • Billie Eilish (from California, USA)
  • Osvaldo Supino (from Italy)
  • Zolita (from New York, USA)
  • Lauren Sanderson (from Indiana, USA)
  • Katie Gavin (from Illinois, USA)
  • Baby Alpaca (from Colorado, USA)
  • Giuseppe (from New York, USA)

Voting:
Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below for the email address). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be from an LGBTQ artist. For a duo/group, at least one member must identify as LGBTQ. Exceptions will be permitted for straight artists who include gay content in their lyrics and/or video, and for straight artists who are widely perceived as a gay icon.
  • Video must be available on YouTube.
  • Video may not contain more than one minute of audio that is not music (such as dialogue).
  • Video must have at least 500 views.
  • Video must be longer than 2 minutes, but shorter than 6 minutes.
  • Release date of the YouTube video must be within the past four months.
