Chart notes:
Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin gets his first-ever #1 on the LGBT chart this week, as "No Se Me Quita" (a collaboration with Colombian singer Maluma) climbs two spots from #3 to #1. Ricky Martin, who first rose to fame as a member of the boy band Menudo, came out publicly as gay in 2010. He recently announced that he and his husband are expecting their fourth child.

Thirteen songs fell off the chart this week to make way for thirteen new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Slide Away" by American singer Miley Cyrus, coming in at #28. After her divorce from actor Liam Hemsworth in August, Miley briefly dated Kaitlynn Carter and is now dating Australian singer Cody Simpson. Miley came out as pansexual in 2015.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
