Chart notes:
American rock band Pvris climbs three spots this week to secure a #1 hit on the LGBT chart with "Hallucinations". Originally an indie band from Massachusetts, they've recently signed with a major label (Warner Records) and have relocated to California. The single is one of five tracks on their Hallucinations EP, and they also plan to release a full-length studio album in 2020. Lead singer Lynn Gunn came out as a lesbian while she was still a teenager.

Five songs fell off the chart this week to make way for five new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Dive in the Water" by Canadian-American singer Blake McGrath, coming in at #39. Blake was recently nominated for a World Choreography Award for the "Love Myself" video that he released in 2018. Blake came out publicly as bisexual in 2009.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
