Chart notes:
American singer Greyson Chance takes over the top of the LGBT chart this week, as "White Roses" moves up a notch into the #1 spot. When it came time to make the video, Greyson wanted it to revolve around a man who hides his true identity from his loved ones... and to reveal the emotional tumult that occurs when that veil of secrecy is finally lifted. "Just like the world around them, each character in the video is likewise broken," Greyson said in an interview with Paper magazine. He's described the visual as a mini-movie. It's the third single in a row from Greyson's album Portraits to reach #1 here on the LGBT chart.

Ten songs fell off the chart this week to make way for ten new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Wig" by Todrick Hall, coming in at #35. Broadway singer Mykal Kilgore and Spanish drag queen Chumina Power are making their very first appearances on the chart.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
