Chart notes:
American singer Miley Cyrus reaches the top of the LGBT chart this week, as "Slide Away" moves up one more notch to #1. Miley also claims the #2 position with "Don't Call Me Angel" (a collaboration with Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey). Miley underwent a surgical procedure on her vocal chords in Boston earlier this month, and must remain silent for several weeks during her recovery.

Nine songs fell off the chart this week to make way for nine new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Killing Butterflies" by English singer Lewis Blissett, coming in at #17. The 15-year-old vocalist first rose to fame as a contestant on the television competition The Voice Kids UK in 2014.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
