Chart notes:
American actor/singer Kevin McHale scores his first #1 on the LGBT chart this week with "Younger". The Texas native is best known for portraying the wheelchair-bound teenager Artie Abrams on the television series Glee. Kevin came out as gay in 2018. The video for "Younger" logged an impressive 27.3% increase in YouTube views since last week, which helped to push this track into the top spot.

Twelve songs fell off the chart this week to make way for twelve new songs. Brazilian drag queen Gloria Groove had the highest debut last week, and she manages to do the same thing this week with another new video. Her collaboration with Monna Brutal is entitled "Magenta Cash" and it enters the chart at #32.

British-American R&B singer Taliwhoah makes her very first appearance on the LGBT chart this week with "Sweet Sweet", coming in at #45. On this track, she collaborated with Nigerian hip-hop singer M.I. Abaga (who has voiced his support for LGBT rights on numerous occasions) and Haitian-American music producer Sak Pase. Taliwhoah was born in Tottenham (England) to parents whose backgrounds were from Jamaica, Nigeria, and Lebanon. These days she makes her home in both London and Los Angeles. She came out publicly as bisexual in 2018.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
