Chart notes:
American musicians Corvyx and Joey Dean move into the highest spot on the LGBT chart, as "Fall on Me" goes up one more notch to land at #1 for the week. The pair are a couple, and they chose this song (a cover of a song by Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World) as the first duet they ever recorded together. Joey is also the lead singer of the rock band Pros And Icons.
Ten songs fell off the chart this week to make way for ten new songs. The highest debut of the week was "To Die For" by English singer Sam Smith, entering the chart at #33. The song is the title track from Sam's third studio album, which is due to be released in June.
Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
