Chart notes:
Australian musician Benji Lewis gets his first #1 song on the LGBT chart this week, as "New Day" moves up two more notches to reach the top spot. The video had an additional 1,861 YouTube views over the past seven days, which is an astounding 78.62% increase over the previous week.

Six songs fell off the chart this week to make way for six new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Tiburones" by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, entering the chart at #35. Ricky performed a 90-minute set at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile last week, which is regarded as the oldest and most respected music festival in South America. The crowd was estimated at more than 15,000 people.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
