Chart notes:
American vocalist Pat Reilly gets his first #1 on the LGBT chart this week, as "Hazy" climbs two more notches. Pat is based in New York City, and he describes his sound as a fusion of R&B, EDM, and pop. The video for "Hazy" gained an additional 88 views on YouTube over the past seven days, which is an increase of 8.88% from the previous week.

This week in the United States, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders suspended his presidential campaign. As a result, the pro-Sanders political anthem by Jason Mraz ("Vote Louder") has been removed from the chart after only two weeks. The video reached #22.

Seven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for seven new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Stupid Love" by American musician Lady Gaga, entering the chart at #37. Lady Gaga recently announced that she would be organizing and headlining the One World: Together at Home livestream concert to benefit the UN's Covid-19 Response Fund. The lineup was curated by Gaga herself and will include stars such as Stevie Wonder and John Legend. LGBT performers who are scheduled to appear include Lady Gaga, Elton John, Lizzo, Kacey Musgraves, and Billy Joe Armstrong (the lead singer from Green Day). It's scheduled for broadcast on multiple platforms (including ABC, NBC, BBC One, Facebook, YouTube, and iHeartRadio) on April 18th.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
