Chart notes:
American singer Lil Nas X hits #1 on the LGBT chart this week with the vampire-themed video for "Rodeo" (featuring American rapper Nas). On April 1st, Lil Nas X joking tweeted "I was never gay". Just a few minutes later, he revealed it was an April Fool's prank and he tweeted out "Ok I'm gay again".

Eleven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for ten new songs and one re-entry. The highest debut of the week was "I Love Me" by American vocalist Demi Lovato, entering the chart at #36. The singer/actress describes herself as "sexually fluid" and identifies herself as being a part of the LGBT community. Demi says she didn't come out to her parents until 2017, and she describes that experience as "emotional, but really beautiful... I have such incredible parents. They were so supportive."

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
