Chart notes:
English singer Rita Ora is on top of the LGBT chart this week, as "How to Be Lonely" moves up one spot to #1. During the coronavirus pandemic, she postponed her South American tour (which is now scheduled for November) and she's been quarantining at home with French model/filmmaker Joséphine de La Baum (who is also the ex-wife of English DJ/producer Mark Ronson). The two women recently held an interview with L'Officiel in which Rita said that she's been using this time to experiment with new music in the studio and is "just testing things out and trying things that I probably wouldn't really do if I didn't have this much time". Rita is slated to participate in the upcoming virtual version of Global Pride on June 27th, along with other LGBT entertainers such as Laverne Cox, Adam Lambert, and Kesha.

Nine songs fell off the chart this week to make way for nine new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Gigante" by Mexican musician Jaime Kohen, entering the chart at #24. Jaime came out publicly as gay in 2014.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's chart position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
