Chart notes:

MNEK holds onto the top spot on the LGBT chart this week with "Head and Heart", a collaboration with fellow British DJ/producer Joel Corry. Last week, I wrote that "Head and Heart" had reached #1 on the official charts of four countries (the U.K., the Netherlands, Ireland, and Scotland) but now they can add a fifth country onto that list, as the track has now reached #1 on the Australian airplay chart as well. The video added another 5,590,197 views on YouTube over the past seven days (an increase of 9.93% over the previous week), which is enough to keep the duo at #1 for a second consecutive week on the LGBT chart.

Nine songs fell off the chart this week to make way for nine new songs. The highest debut of the week was "No Therapy" by German DJ/producer Felix Jaehn, along with Swedish singer Linnea Södahl (better known simply as Nea) and British singer/songwriter Bryn Christopher. Both Felix Jaehn and Bryn Christopher identify as LGBT. In a recent interview with Flaunt magazine, Felix described "No Therapy" as an LGBT anthem. He said, "I feel like a lot of people in the LGBTQ community went through a phase where they felt like they needed to change or where they felt like they didn't fit in." The song's lyrics send a message of self-empowerment and love to people who might still feel that way. "Everybody's different," Felix stated, "and we should always just be who we want to be and express ourselves freely and love each other."

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in YouTube views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning.
