Chart notes:
The weekend brings a new #1 song to the top of the LGBT chart, as French DJ/producer David Guetta and American vocalist Bebe Rexha move up one more place from the midweek's #2 position with "I'm Good (Blue)". The track marks their sixth collaboration together. Bebe Rexha (who's originally from Staten Island, New York) is a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community and has described her own sexuality as "fluid". Their latest single samples heavily from the 1998 hit "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Italian group Eiffel 65. According to SoundCharts, the song has reached #1 on the official charts of a jaw-dropping 130 different countries. It has reached #1 on The SoundCharts Global Chart and #2 on The Billboard Global 200 Chart. Over the past four days, the video for "I'm Good (Blue)" has gained an additional 2,303,183 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 1.54% since the midweek's chart).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend, including a return from a former #1 hit: British musician Elton John rebounds back up 8 places to #5 with "Hold Me Closer". German singer/songwriter Daniel Schuhmacher leaps ahead 13 spots to #8 with "Skin I'm In". They're joined in the Top 10 by South Korean singer Rie, who's rising 9 notches to #9 with "Because".

Three songs fall off the chart to make way for three new songs. The highest debut this weekend was "100% Pure Love" by English artist Years And Years, entering the chart at #43. The song, a remake of the 1994 hit by American vocalist Crystal Waters, was recorded for Target's 2022 holiday ad campaign. Over the past half-week, the video for "100% Pure Love" has gained an additional 5,856 YouTube views (which is an increase of 1.48% over the previous chart period).

Further down the chart, we have two more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Ukraine and the U.S.A.:
  • Max Barskih (from Ukraine)
  • Pentatonix (from Texas, USA)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
