Chart notes:
German DJ/producer Felix Jaehn climbs to the top of the LGBT chart at midweek with "Call It Love", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. The vocals are provided by American singer Ray Dalton (from Seattle, Washington), who's best known for his multi-platinum collaborations with fellow Seattle musicians Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The track's lyrics focus on the desire to break free from societal constraints and suggest that a change is coming. The song encourages us to take action, to be brave, and to follow our hearts despite the fear of the unknown. According to SoundCharts, the track has reached the Top 10 on the official charts of 49 different countries and has reached the #1 spot in 12 of them (Germany, Russia, Romania, Spain, Luxembourg, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Croatia, Canada, Panama, and Argentina). The single has reached as high as #4 on The SoundCharts Global Chart. Over the past three days, the video for "Call It Love" has gained an additional 1,238,391 views on YouTube (which is a massive increase of 15.47% since the weekend's chart!).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. Spanish musician Pablo Alborán climbs 9 notches to #7 with "Viaje A Ningún Lado". American pop/rock quartet Imagine Dragons (from Las Vegas, Nevada) rises 4 more spots to #8 with "I Don't Like Myself". They're joined in the Top 10 by American vocalist Bebe Rexha (from Staten Island, New York), who's moving up 8 places to #9 with "I'm Good (Blue)".

Twelve songs fall off the chart to make way for twelve new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Matcha Tea" by American singer/songwriter Cassidy King, entering the chart at #36. Cassidy (originally from Chardon, Ohio) said it never seemed possible to imagine herself with a career in the music industry... until a friend recorded Cassidy singing in her dormitory stairwell, and the clip went viral on Twitter. In a 2022 interview with Diva Magazine, Cassidy discussed what it was like to grow up in a small conservative religious community as an LGBTQ person. "It was tough. I didn't even know that I could be gay. I was taught that being queer was wrong and I struggled with so much internalized homophobia." She continued, "It really just made me have this urge to say something and be there for people. You can be from a really small town in Ohio, you can be gay, you can make music, you can do it all." Over the past half-week, the video for "Matcha Tea" has gained an additional 377 YouTube views (which is a huge increase of 10.90% over the previous chart period!).

Further down the chart, we have 11 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Chile, Australia, the U.S.A., Mexico, England, France, and Spain:

  • Javiera Mena (from Chile)
  • Zemmoa (from Mexico)

Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
