Chart notes:
South Korean boy-band Ateez claims the #1 spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend with "Ice on My Teeth", moving up 3 more places from the midweek's #4 position. The track is the lead single off their EP Golden Hour: Part 2, which reached #1 on The Gaon Album Chart in South Korea as well as reaching #1 on The Billboard 200 Album Chart in the United States. The band's eight members have been frequently outspoken on their support for the LGBTQ community and they regularly use rainbow emojis on their social media posts. At fan events, the bandmates have stated that their LGBT fans are their "inspiration" and they want them to "feel safe, inspired, and valid" while listening to their music. Over the past four days, the video for "Ice on My Teeth" has gained an additional 560,103 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 0.84% since the midweek's chart).
Two videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend, including a return from a former #1 hit: American musician/actress Lady Gaga (from Manhattan, New York) rebounds back up 3 spots to #9 with "Disease". She's joined in the Top Ten by Russian singer Sergey Lazarev, who's climbing 8 notches to #6 with "Tsveta Odnogo".
Six songs fall off the chart to make way for six new songs. The weekend chart features 6 debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Germany, and England:
- Tokischa (from the Dominican Republic) and Nathy Peluso (originally from Argentina & now residing in Spain)
- Mamalarky (from Texas, USA)
- Pegaso (from Mexico)
- RealXman (from California, USA)
