Chart notes:
American singer/songwriter Maddie Zahm (from Boise, Idaho) earns her first #1 on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Heaven", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. Maddie started her career as a contestant on American Idol, getting eliminated from the competition after she forgot the lyrics to the song she was singing ("What About Us?" by Pink). She came out as bisexual in 2022. Over the past half-week, the video for "Heaven" has gained an additional 912 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 3.75% since the weekend's chart).

Two videos move up into the Top Ten at midweek, both of which happen to be former #1 hits that are returning to the Top Ten. Spanish musician Guitarricadelafuente rebounds back up 6 spots to #9 with "Full Time Papi". British punk-rock duo Lambrini Girls (from Brighton, England) regain 18 notches to land at #10 with "No Homo".

Eight songs fall off the chart to make way for eight new songs. The midweek chart features 8 debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., Brazil, England, Australia, Hong Kong, and China:
  • Anitta (from Brazil)
  • Frankie Grande (from Florida, USA)
  • Tom Aspaul (from England, U.K.)
  • Saucy Santana (from Florida, USA)
  • Majelen (from Australia)
  • Bunny White (from Maryland, USA)
  • Grant Knoche (from Texas, USA)
  • Jackson Wang (originally from Hong Kong & currently residing in mainland China)

Voting:
Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below for the email address). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be from an LGBTQ artist. For a duo/group, at least one member must identify as LGBTQ. Exceptions will be permitted for straight artists who include gay content in their lyrics and/or video, and for straight artists who are widely perceived as a gay icon.
  • Video must be available on YouTube.
  • Video may not contain more than one minute of audio that is not music (such as dialogue).
  • Video must have at least 500 views.
  • Video must be longer than 2 minutes, but shorter than 6 minutes.
  • Release date of the YouTube video must be within the past four months.
