Chart notes:
German singer-songwriter Kim Petras scores a #1 with her latest track "Icy". The transgender singer released nine tracks over nine weeks this past summer, then announced that "Icy" would be the first single off her upcoming studio album. The official video came out in mid-October. The last time Kim hit #1 on this chart was with "Heart To Break" back in 2018.
Twelve songs fell off the chart this week to make way for twelve new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Raising Hell" by bisexual American singer Kesha and American drag queen Big Freedia, coming in at #29. Kesha hasn't appeared on this chart since "Body Talks" (with The Struts) and "Woman" (with The Dap-King Horns) in 2018.
Chart positions are based on (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
