Chart notes:
For the final LGBT chart of 2019, American vocalist Halsey takes the #1 position with "Graveyard". The bisexual singer will appear on the first new episode of Saturday Night Live in 2020, which is scheduled for broadcast on January 25th.
Six songs fell off the chart this week to make way for six new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Is It Just Me?" by English singer-songwriter Emily Burns, coming in at #22. The lesbian musician is new to this chart, but she's been making a name for herself in the music industry for several years now. She kicked off her career in 2010, when she reached the finals in Britain's Live and Unsigned talent competition.
Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
