Chart notes:
American musician Conan Gray (from Lemon Grove, California) takes over the #1 spot on the LGBT chart at midweek with "Yours", moving up 1 more place from the weekend's #2 position. The lyrics speak to the experience of being used by someone who you mistakenly thought was yours forever. In the beginning of the song, Conan is struggling with the painful realization that he was never actually theirs. As the music continues, he comes to understand that it's not really his loss after all. Over the past three days, the video for "Yours" has gained an additional 140,193 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 3.14% since the weekend's chart).
Five videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. American trio Muna (from Los Angeles, California) climbs 7 notches to #4 with "Kind Of Girl". Swedish singer Darin rises 13 spots to #6 with "Superstar". Lithuanian musician Gabrielius Vagelis leaps ahead 15 places to #7 with "Man Trūksta Dienų". American singer/songwriter Jordy (originally from Chicago, Illinois) gains 6 positions to reach #8 with "Dry Spell". They're joined in the Top 10 by German artist Leopold, who's moving up 10 more spots to #10 with "Breathe Out".
Seven songs fall off the chart to make way for six new songs and one re-entry. The highest debut at midweek was "Dumi" by Ukrainian singer/songwriter Artem Pyvovarov, entering the chart at #39. The track is a duet with Ukrainian vocalist Nadija Dorofeeva. Their new single is inspired by the poem "My Thoughts, My Thoughts" by Ukrainian poet Taras Grigorovich, which speaks of sadness and regret on the loss of freedom in their native Motherland and yet hints at faith in whatever changes the future might bring. Over the past half-week, the video for "Dumi" has gained an additional 739,402 YouTube views (which is a massive increase of 20.37% over the previous chart period!).
Further down the chart, we have 5 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Italy, Belgium, Chile, Wales, England, and Kenya:
