Chart notes:
British singer Calum Scott (originally from Yorkshire, England) takes over the top spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Whistle", moving up 2 more places from the weekend's #3 position. The song is a collaboration with English DJ/producer Jax Jones, who does not identify as a member of the LGBTQ community but has appeared on this chart many times due to his frequent collaborations with LGBTQ artists (including Years And Years, MNEK, Calum Scott, Charli XCX, and Demi Lovato). Jax told UDiscoverMusic that "We shot the video for 'Whistle' on the buses that I took every day to my music classes: the 176 and the 363. Using these routes allowed me to show my version of London, such as the multicultural aspects that influenced me musically and make up so much of who I am today." Over the past three days, the video for "Whistle" has gained an additional 296,966 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 1.39% since the weekend's chart).

Two videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. Belgian musician/producer Max Colombie (who's known professionally as Oscar And The Wolf) leaps ahead 10 places to #8 with "Warrior". He's joined in the Top 10 by French singer/composer Mylène Farmer, who's climbing 3 notches to #9 with "Rallumer les Étioles".

Ten songs fall off the chart to make way for ten new songs. The midweek chart features 10 debuts by LGBTQ artists from Spain, Australia, the U.S.A., Switzerland, the Philippines, Thailand, and Italy:
  • Janelle Monàe (from Kansas, U.S.A.)
  • Dibby Sounds (from Switzerland)
  • La Prohibida & Victor Algora (both from Spain)
  • Halsey (from New Jersey, U.S.A.)
  • Pixie Labrador (from the Philippines)
  • Qeetha (from Thailand)
  • The AAA Girls (from Pennsylvania and Florida, U.S.A., & Australia)
  • Tin (from Australia)
  • Sevndeep (originally from Virginia & now residing in Georgia, U.S.A.)
  • Matti Toni (from Italy)

Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
