Venezuelan/Spanish artist La Cruz has the new #1 on Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend with "Privado", moving up one more place from the midweek's #2 position. The track is a collaboration with Puerto Rican rapper Villano Antillano. According to SoundCharts, the song has reached the Top Ten in five different countries and has reached #1 on the digital/streaming chart in Costa Rica. It peaked at #66 in Venezuela and at #70 in the United States. Over the past four days, the video for "Privado" has gained an additional 22,338 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 2.45% since the midweek's chart).
Two videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend. American singer/songwriter Rebecca Black (from Irvine, California) climbs 2 notches to #9 with "Trust!". She's joined in the Top Ten by Belgian/American musician Semler (now residing in Los Angeles, California), who's moving up 3 spots to #10 with "Little Light".
Ten songs fall off the chart to make way for ten new songs. The weekend chart features 10 debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the U.S.A., Germany, Venezuela, Sweden, Brazil, Canada, Serbia, and Scotland:

Voting:
Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below for the email address). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must meet the following criteria:
- Must be from an LGBTQ artist. For a duo/group, at least one member must identify as LGBTQ. Exceptions will be permitted for straight artists who include gay content in their lyrics and/or video, and for straight artists who are widely perceived as a gay icon.
- Video must be available on YouTube.
- Video must not contain more than one minute of audio that is not music (such as dialogue).
- Video must have at least 500 views.
- Video must be longer than 2 minutes, but shorter than 6 minutes.
- Release date of the YouTube video must be within the past four months.
