Chart notes:
British singer/songwriter Becky Hill (from Worcestershire, England) ascends to the #1 spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend with "Swim", moving up one more place from the midweek's #2 position. The track is a collaboration with American DJ/producer Marc Kinchen (from Detroit, Michigan) who is known by his initials MK. Becky started her career as a contestant on The Voice UK in 2012, and she later became the first contestant from The Voice UK to have a #1 hit on The UK Singles Chart. Becky came out as queer on her Twitter account in April 2021. Over the past four days, the video for "Swim" has gained an additional 38,735 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 5.88% since the midweek's chart!).

Four videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend. American singer Jordan Suaste (from Salt Lake City, Utah) climbs 5 spots to #7 with "Heaven". American/Thai/Filipino boy-band NSB (also known as North Star Boys) rises 5 notches to #8 with "Stardom". American YouTuber/singer James Charles (from Bethlehem, New York) moves up 5 places to #9 with "Used to Love Me". They're joined in the Top Ten by American rapper/singer Ocean Kelly (from Atlanta, Georgia), who's leaping ahead 10 positions to #10 with "Down the Cunty Road".

Seven songs fall off the chart to make way for seven new songs. The weekend chart features 10 debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, Ukraine, Germany, the U.S.A., and Peru:
  • Lambrini Girls (from England, U.K.)
  • Smashby (from England, U.K.)
  • Flamyngus (from Germany)
  • Maruv (from Ukraine)
  • Artem Pivovarov (from Ukraine)
  • Kate Pierson (from New Jersey, USA)
  • Adrián Bello (from Peru)

Voting:
Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below for the email address). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must meet the following criteria:

  • Video must be available on YouTube.
  • Video may not contain more than one minute of audio that is not music (such as dialogue).
  • Video must have at least 500 views.
  • Video must be longer than 2 minutes, but shorter than 6 minutes.
