Chart notes:
After spending two weeks in a row at #2, Lady Gaga finally dances all the way to the top of the LGBT chart with "Rain On Me" (a collaboration with Ariana Grande). The music video was shot in Los Angeles shortly before the state of California imposed a shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. It's the second track from Gaga's critically-acclaimed new album Chromatica, which was originally slated for release in April but was delayed for seven weeks due to Covid-19. The single has already reached #1 in more than a dozen different countries.

Seven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for seven new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Balla Per Me" by Italian singers Tiziano Ferro and Jovanotti, entering the chart at #29. Like many other musicians around the world, Tiziano had to postpone his summer 2020 concert tour due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The video was shot during the pandemic, with both singers in isolation on separate continents (Tiziano was in California at the time, while Jovanotti was in Italy). Translated to English, the title means "Dance For Me".

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's chart position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in YouTube views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
