Chart notes:
American musician Vincint Cannady (who is known professionally by just his first name) has captured the #1 spot on the LGBT chart with "Save Myself", climbing one position from last week. He's originally from Pennsylvania, but he now resides in California. Vincint was a finalist on the television talent competition The Four during its first season in 2018. He's previously appeared on the LGBT chart with the videos for "Marrow" (which reached the Top 10 in 2018) and "Please Don't Fall in Love" (which spent five weeks on the chart in 2019 and peaked at #22). Vincint released his debut album The Feeling this past February. He's scheduled to perform live this weekend (on Sunday 8/16) for the online UK Black Pride Festival which is utilizing an all-streaming format this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nine songs fell off the chart this week to make way for nine new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Lying" by New Zealand/Australian singer Ben Hazlewood, entering the chart at #29. It's the follow-up single to his #1 smash "Lay Me Down" which is now spending its ninth week on the LGBT chart at #21. Ben's music has earned rave reviews in publications as varied as Billboard and Huffington Post and Harper's Bazaar. He says he's been writing songs since he was 14 years old. "Writing songs allowed me to express all the emotions that I wasn't able to speak about," he wrote on his official website. For him, songwriting was "a way to understand what was going on in my own head".

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's chart position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in YouTube views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).

  3. Finding quality promotion can be a daunting and sometimes overwhelming task for new artists who have only just begun to get a grasp on how to build their brand while remaining truthful to themselves and their music. Often artists are tempted to do anything they can to get their music heard by more people but most of the time, the practices they engage in end up having quite an undesired effect. دانلود آهنگ

  4. What is the fundamental factor that determines whether you will succeed in the music business or fail? The answer is: Your mindset. The level of success you experience in your music career is perfectly analogous to the choices you make and the actions you've taken up to this point. Both of these things are a result of the mindset you have. Pro audio
