Chart Week #3 of 2021: Week of 17th January
Chart notes:
It's a second consecutive week at #1 for "There Will Be a Way" by Dutch musician Dotan. He was born in Israel, but his family relocated to the Netherlands when he was just one year old. Dotan came out as gay in September 2019. The video for "There Will Be a Way" has gained an additional 73,082 views on YouTube over the past week, which is an increase of 13.11% over the previous week.
Eleven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for eleven new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Maria" by Ukrainian singer Maruv, entering the chart at #30. Over the past week, the video for "Maria" gained an additional 236,839 YouTube views (which is an increase of 6.48% over the week prior).
Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's chart position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in YouTube views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday at 12 noon (California time).
