Each week, Tad’s LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 videos by LGBT artists from around the world.

Chart Week #10 of 2021: Week of 7th March

Chart notes:
Brooklyn singer/songwriter Reigen has the new #1 video on the LGBT chart this week with "Blue", climbing one more notch from last week's #2 spot. Reigen had three songs on this chart last year -- "Thrill Me" (which peaked at #7), "Take Me Home" (which reached #12), and "Wild Nights" (which peaked at #16) -- but he hasn't been all the way to #1 since "Ride" in November 2018. The video for "Blue" has gained an additional 5,113 views on YouTube over the past seven days (which is an increase of 14.67% over the previous week).

Five videos move up into the Top 10 this week. English singer Yungblud rises 12 spots to #4 with "Acting Like That". Three American LGBT artists -- Zolita (from New York), Gregory Dillon (originally from New Hampshire), and Fletcher (originally from New Jersey) -- are also breaking into the Top Ten this week, along with a rebound from LP (originally from New York) who's already hit #1 on this chart with "How Low Can You Go?".

Eleven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for eleven new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Bad Girl" from American artist Daya, entering the chart at #37. Daya (whose real name is Grace Tandon) is originally from Pennsylvania. In a nod to her Punjabi heritage, she chose the stage name Daya which means "compassion" or "kindness" in Sanskrit. Daya came out publicly as bisexual in October 2018. Over the past week, the video for "Bad Girl" has gained an additional 231,552 YouTube views (which is an increase of 31.94% over the week prior).

Further down the chart, five more American acts are making their debuts onto the Top 50 this week: Siena Liggins (from Michigan), The Dreamers (from New York), Michael Medrano (from California), Tom Goss (originally from Illinois), and Butterfly Feels (from Georgia). They're joined by one artist each from Germany (Tokio Hotel), China (Alice Longyu Gao), England (Rita Ora), Spain (La Pelopony), and Portugal (André Seravat). Also appearing with these LGBT acts in collaborations are German duo Vize, Kazakh DJ/producer Imanbek, and American artists from Illinois (Fraxiom), Maine (American Teeth), and California (Wes Period and Dance Yourself Clean).

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's chart position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in YouTube views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday at 12 noon (California time). If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBT artist & must be available on YouTube.
