Chart Week 12 of 2021: Week of 21st March

 Each week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 videos by LGBT artists from around the world.

Chart Week #12 of 2021: Week of 21st March


 



Chart notes:
   It's a second consecutive week at #1 for American singer Zolita (from California), as "Bedspell" hangs onto the top spot on the LGBT chart. The track is the third single to be released from her first full-length studio album (which is entitled Evil Angel, and was released in December 2020). Over the past seven days, the video for "Bedspell" has gained an additional 1,227,608 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 34.88% over the previous week).

   Four videos move up into the Top 10 this week. American singer Daya climbs 11 notches from #16 to #5 with "Bad Girl". British/American supergroup Silk City moves up 5 spots to #7. German quartet Tokio Hotel rises 9 places to land at #9. And finally, British singer/songwriter Rina Sawayama climbs 3 more spots to reach #10 this week with "Lucid".

   Eight songs fall off the chart this week to make way for eight new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Coringa" by Brazilian musician Jão, entering the chart at #38. In English, the title translates to "Joker". The track is the first single off his upcoming third album, and has already reached #8 on the Brazilian chart. Over the past week, the video for "Coringa" has gained an additional 1,256,746 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 21.30% over the week prior).

   Further down the chart, we have debuts from Australia, the USA, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand:

   Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's chart position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in YouTube views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Wednesday at 12 noon (California time). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBT artist & they must be available on YouTube.
