Chart Week 46 of 2021: 14th November

    Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.   

Chart Week #46 of 2021: Week of 14th November



Chart notes:
   Brazilian drag superstar Gloria Groove hits #1 on the LGBT chart this weekend with "A Queda", climbing two more notches from the midweek's #3 position. According to SoundCharts, the track has already made it to #1 on the official digital/streaming chart in Gloria's native Brazil, as well as reaching the Top 10 in two other countries (#6 in Portugal and #8 in Cape Verde). Altogether, it has appeared on the digital/streaming charts of 54 different countries and has gotten as high as #16 on the global chart. The song has also appeared on the radio airplay charts of 3 countries (Brazil, Portugal, and France). Over the past four days, the video for "A Queda" has gained an additional 2,718,257 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 7.29% since the midweek chart).

   Three videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend, including a return from a former #1 hit: after falling out of the Top 10 at midweek, English singer Calum Scott rebounds back up 5 notches to #7 with "Where Are You Now?". Italian rock quartet Måneskin leaps ahead 13 places to #6 with "Mammamia". They're joined in the Top 10 by transgender German vocalist Kim Petras, rising 2 more spots to #9 with "Future Starts Now".

   Seven songs fall off the chart to make way for seven new songs. The highest debut this weekend was "Fly Up High" by Austrian singer Virginia Ernst and her wife Dorothea Ernst, entering the chart at #35. According to SoundCharts, the track has reached as high as #14 on the Austrian radio airplay chart and #16 on the digital/streaming chart in Austria. Over the past half-week, the video for "Fly Up High" has gained an additional 5,496 YouTube views (which is a huge increase of 19.10% over the previous chart period!).

   Further down the chart, we have 6 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Austria, Ukraine, Brazil, England, the U.S.A., Canada, and France:

  • Elton John (from England, UK)
  • Conchita Wurst (from Austria)
  • Rufus Wainwright (originally from the U.S.A. & now residing in Canada)
  • Emilie Marsh (from France)
