Chart notes:
Italian quartet Måneskin hangs onto the #1 spot on the LGBT chart this weekend with "If I Can Dream". The song has reached #1 on the official charts in Italy, and #1 in four other countries as well (Poland, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Brazil). Over the past four days, the video for "If I Can Dream" has gained an additional 165,957 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 6.29% since the midweek's chart!).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend. English artist Jessie Ware leaps ahead 11 notches to #8 with "Free Yourself". Austrian singer Aymz climbs 6 spots to #9 with "Odyssee". They're joined in the Top 10 by Canadian DJ/producer Kaytranada (from Montreal, Quebec), who's moving up 7 more places to #10 with "Twin Flame".

Six songs fall off the chart to make way for six new songs. The highest debut this weekend was "Looking For Love" by German singer/songwriter Lena Meyer-Landrut, entering the chart at #35. Lena rose to fame after winning The Eurovision Song Contest in 2010, and shortly afterwards she made history as the first artist to have three singles debut in the Top 5 simultaneously on the official charts in Germany. She has been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights since the beginning of her career. The single has already reached #2 in Germany and has appeared on the charts of several other European countries, reaching the Top 10 in four of them (Luxembourg, Austria, Lithuania, and Slovakia). Over the past half-week, the video for "Looking For Love" has gained an additional 46,262 YouTube views (which is a huge increase of 6.97% over the previous chart period!).

Further down the chart, we have 5 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Chile, Australia, the U.S.A., England, and Brazil:
  • Kevin Vásquez (from Chile)
  • G Flip (from Australia)
  • Chloe Moriondo (from Michigan, USA)
  • Poppy Ajudha (from England, UK)
  • Davi Bandeira (from Brazil)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
