Chart Week 39 of 2022: 25 September

     Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 music videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.     

Chart Week #39 of 2022: Week of 25th September

Chart notes:
   German singer/songwriter Lena Meyer-Landrut earns her first #1 on the LGBT chart with "Looking For Love", moving up one more place from the midweek's #2 position. In the clip, Lena's romantic interest is another woman. Over the past four days, the video for "Looking For Love" has gained an additional 38,219 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 4.31% since the midweek's chart).

   Three videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend. American musician Jake Wesley Rogers (from Ozark, Missouri) climbs 8 notches to #4 with "Modern Love". Dutch singer/songwriter Duncan Laurence leaps ahead 11 places to #8 with "Electric Life". They're joined in the Top 10 by Israeli artist Netta, who's rising 6 spots to #10 with "Playground Politica".

   Thirteen songs fall off the chart to make way for twelve new songs and one re-entry. The highest debut this weekend was "Dansið Eða Deyið" by Icelandic trio Hatari, entering the chart at #37. The song title translates to "Dance Or Die" in English. Over the past half-week, the video for Dansið Eða Deyið" has gained an additional 1,995 YouTube views (which is a huge increase of 6.08% over the previous chart period!).

   Further down the chart, we have 11 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from South Korea, the U.S.A., Germany, Spain, Australia, and Brazil:

   Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
