Chart notes:
There's no change at the very top of the LGBT chart this weekend, as British singer/songwriter Dylan And The Moon (a.k.a. Dylan Holloway) holds onto the #1 spot with "Heaven Now". The song has received renewed attention due to Dylan's appearances on the television talent competition Project Icon, which airs on BBC Three in the U.K. Over the past four days, the video for "Heaven Now" has gained an additional 765 views on YouTube (which is a massive increase of 30.12% since the midweek's chart!).

Only one video moves up into the Top 10 this weekend. Ukrainian musician Artem Pivovarov climbs 9 notches to #8 with "Oy Na Hori". The song had previously peaked at #14 and then fell back to #17 on the midweek's chart, but now it's climbing this chart again based on strong numbers of votes since the last chart was published.

Eight songs fall off the chart to make way for eight new songs. The highest debut this weekend was "Running Up That Hill (En Español)" by Chilean singer/actor Kevz, entering the chart at #32. Kevz (whose real name is Kevin Vásquez) is best known as one-half of the brother/sister duo Kevin Y Karla, and he often uses the name Kevz on his solo projects. Talking about his early years, Kevz says "I always lived super repressed. My family -- uncles and cousins -- are evangelical Christians, and when I came out of the closet it caused repercussions in my family... but my close family -- my mom and my brothers -- are super happy with what I'm doing. They find me super brave and are proud of what I have accomplished." The track is a cover of Kate Bush's 1985 hit, which has regained popularity since it was featured in the television series Stranger Things in early 2022. The renewed attention to the song has led to its resurgence on charts around the world, reaching #1 in the U.K. for three consecutive weeks, #1 in Ireland for seven weeks, and #1 in Australia for nine weeks. It's also reached a new peak in the U.S.A., climbing to #3 on The Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Over the past half-week, the video for Kevz's Spanish version has gained an additional 1,319 YouTube views (which is an increase of 1.33% over the previous chart period).

Further down the chart, we have 7 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the U.S.A., Spain, and Mexico:
  • David Rees (from Spain)
  • Rina Sawayama (from England, UK)
  • Imagine Dragons (from Nevada, USA)
  • Mykki Blanco (from North Carolina, USA)
  • Lily Rose (from Georgia, USA)
  • Grupo Firme (from Mexico)
  • Queen (from England, UK)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
