Chart notes:
British singer/radio host/songwriter Tom Aspaul (from Wolverhampton, England) earns his first #1 on the LGBT chart at midweek with "Thessaloniki", moving up 2 more places from the weekend's #3 position. Talking about the single, Tom says "I lived in Greece as part of my Masters degree! It was a very formative time in my life... I spent a lot of time in Thessaloniki. Met someone. You know the rest!" When he sat down to write his latest album, Tom explains that "I knew the album was gonna have a Europop feel to it, so it felt right to do a song about my time in Greece, because the country and the city of Thessaloniki really left a mark on me. It was beautiful to return, to shoot the video." Over the past three days, the video for "Thessaloniki" has gained an additional 233 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 4.05% since the weekend's chart).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. American musician Pink (originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania) climbs 9 notches to #7 with "Never Gonna Not Dance Again". British singer Years And Years (from North Yorkshire, England) rises 5 spots to #8 with "100% Pure Love". They're joined in the Top 10 by Vietnamese singer Trúc Nhân, who's moving up 2 more places to #9 with "Vẽ Đựờng Cong".

Sixteen songs fall off the chart to make way for sixteen new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Hit And Run" by Canadian singer/songwriter Theo Tams, entering the chart at #21. Theo (who's originally from Lethbridge, Alberta & now resides in Toronto, Ontario) rose to fame as the winner of the sixth season of the television talent competition Canadian Idol in 2008. Theo came out as gay during the show's run, referring to a male partner during one of his post-performance interviews. He went on to make history as the first openly gay performer to win an Idol series in North America. His latest single "Hit And Run" blends a hard pop edge with disco influences to reflect on the aftermath of a previous relationship. The lyrics find Theo assessing the damage, looking back at the red flags and learning from them for the future. Theo explains "I'm a lot better at spotting bullshit than I used to be, so even though it hurt like hell I'm thankful for what the experience taught me." Over the past half-week, the video for "Hit And Run" has gained an additional 29 YouTube views (which is an increase of 4.02% over the previous chart period).
