Chart notes:
American musician Pink (originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania) has taken over the top of the LGBT chart at midweek with "Never Gonna Not Dance Again", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. According to SoundCharts, the song has reached the Top 10 on the official charts of 72 different countries, reaching #1 in 36 of them. The track has gotten as high as #8 on The Soundcharts Global Chart. Over the past three days, the video for "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" has gained an additional 271,385 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 1.50% since the weekend's chart).

Two videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, both of which happen to be from transgender artists. First off, we have a return into the Top 10 from a former #1 hit: British musician Dylan And The Moon (originally from Cornwall, England) is rebounding back up 6 notches to #7 with "Heaven Now". He's joined in the Top 10 by American rapper Mykki Blanco (originally from Raleigh, North Carolina), who's climbing 8 more spots to #10 with "Carry On".

Eight songs fall off the chart to make way for eight new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Cáscara De Coco" by Puerto Rican rapper Villano Antillano, entering the chart at #30. Recently Rolling Stone referred to Villano as "the first prominent trans Latin music star". Villano describes her vision for this track as a celebration of female power and said, "It is a future where women rule, feminism triumphs, and justice and revenge are accessible. It is the beginning of a new era." Over the past half-week, the video for "Cáscara De Coco" has gained an additional 16,403 YouTube views (which is an increase of 1.56% over the previous chart period).

Further down the chart, we have 7 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Chile, the U.S.A., Australia, and Norway:
  • The Jawbreakers (from Australia)
  • Reindr & Kevz (both from Chile)
  • Matilda (from Norway)
  • Moral Distraída (from Chile)
  • Omar Apollo (from Indiana, USA)
  • Brockhampton (from Texas, USA)
  • Butterfly Feels (from Georgia, USA)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
