Chart notes:
There's no change at the very top of Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend, as French singer Chéri hangs onto the #1 position with "Chéripop". The song is the title track of his second EP, released just one year after his first EP. Chéri started singing at the age of nine, and began touring when he was twelve. He was forced to suspend his musical career for a few years after a serious infection of the vocal chords. Chéri started his musical career anew in 2019, quickly gathered an online fanbase, and was named as one of VEVO's 2022 Artists To Watch. Over the past half-week, the video for "Chéripop" has gained an additional 73 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 2.45% since the midweek's chart).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend. Swedish singer/actress Tove Lo climbs 9 notches to #8 with "Borderline". Norwegian musician Ruben rises 7 spots to #9 with "Dancing Feet". They're joined in the Top 10 by Thai singer/actor PP Krit, who's leaping ahead 11 places to #10 with "Lang Le".

Thirteen songs fall off the chart to make way for thirteen new songs. The weekend chart features 13 debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, Spain, the U.S.A., Japan, Sweden, Australia, Switzerland, Bolivia, South Africa, and Singapore:
  • Jessie Ware (from England, U.K.)
  • Sam Smith (from England, U.K.)
  • Arlo Parks (from England, U.K.)
  • MeseMoa (from Japan)
  • Isak Danielson (from Sweden)
  • Bebe Rexha (from New York, U.S.A.)
  • Blas Cantó (from Spain)
  • Betty Who (from Australia)
  • Laskaar (originally from Switzerland & now residing in Spain)
  • Eureka O'Hara (from Tennessee, U.S.A.)
  • Luis Gamarra (originally from Bolivia & now living in Florida, U.S.A.)
  • Desire Marea (from South Africa)
  • Leon Markcus (from Singapore)

Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
