Chart notes:
American singer/songwriter Mad Tsai earns his first #1 on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Stacy's Brother", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. Mad Tsai (whose real name is Jonathan Tsai) is originally from Florida and is now attending university in California. Teen Vogue described him as "a Gen-Z icon who's reimagining a world where queer Asian and Latinx boys can become the main characters of their own stories." (Jonathan is of Taiwanese and Peruvian descent.) Over the past three days, the video for "Stacy's Brother" has gained an additional 152,955 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 1.94% since the weekend's chart).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. French musician Chéri climbs 6 notches to #5 with "Chéripop". American singer/songwriter Wrabel (originally from Houston, Texas) rises 9 spots to #8 with "Happier". They're joined in the Top 10 by British singer Joesef (from Garthamlock, Scotland), who's moving up 4 more places to #9 with "Just Come Home With Me Tonight".

Nine songs fall off the chart to make way for nine new songs. The midweek chart features 9 debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the U.S.A., Spain, Norway, France, Japan, and Canada:
  • Ashnikko (originally from North Carolina, U.S.A. & now residing in England)
  • Calum Scott (from England, U.K.)
  • Boyish (originally from Massachusetts & now living in New York, U.S.A.)
  • David Rees (from Spain)
  • Ruben (from Norway)
  • Pomme (from France)
  • Bentley Jones (originally from England & now residing in Japan)
  • Whatever Mike (originally from New Jersey & now living in California, U.S.A.)

Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
