Chart notes:
French singer Chéri has earned the #1 spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Chéripop", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. The queer Parisian artist of Spanish origin likes to closely guard the details of his personal life (such as his real name and age). He was inspired to adopt the moniker Chéri after reading Collette's 1920 novel Chéri, which delves into the heartbreak that follows a doomed romance. His music blends the sounds of traditional French and Spanish music with modern dance and pop. According to SoundCharts, the song has gotten as high as #7 on the official radio airplay chart in France. Over the past three days, the video for "Chéri" has gained an additional 79 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 2.73% since the weekend's chart).

Five videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: Dutch singer/songwriter Duncan Laurence rebounds back up 2 positions to #10 with "I Want It All". American rapper Big Dipper (from Evanston, Illinois) climbs 5 notches to #6 with "Club Go Up". British singer/songwriter Calum Scott (from Yorkshire, England) leaps ahead 12 places to #7 with "Whistle". American vocalist Rebecca Black (from Irvine, California) rises 6 spots to #8 with "Sick to My Stomach". They're joined in the Top 10 by South Korean boy-band Seventeen, who are moving up 6 more positions to #9 with "Paiting Haeyaji".

Seven songs fall off the chart to make way for seven new songs. The midweek chart features debuts by LGBTQ artists from South Korea, England, Chile, Belgium, France, Switzerland, and Australia:
  • Reindr (from Chile)
  • Oscar And The Wolf (from Belgium)
  • NCT Dream (from South Korea)
  • Illustre (from France) & KT Gorique (from Switzerland)
  • Hollie Col (from Australia)
  • Lionesses (from South Korea)
  • Leo Kalyan & MNEK (both from England, U.K.)

Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
