Chart notes:
There's no change at the very top of the LGBT chart, as Todrick Hall holds onto the #1 spot for a second consecutive week with "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels".

The remainder of the Top Five this week are: Canadian-American singer Elliot Jones (climbing 1 spot to #2), American singer Michael Medrano (moving up 4 notches to #3), Australian singer Alfie Arcuri (forging ahead 7 places to #4), and Moroccan-American singer Matthew James (rising 8 spots to #5).

Eleven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for eleven new songs. The highest debut of the week was "You Need To Calm Down" by American singer Taylor Swift, coming in at #24.

Five artists (Carlos Vara, Gregory Dillon, Nick Bolt, Renan Pitanga, and Mani Orrason) are making their very first appearances on the LGBT chart this week. An additional six artists (Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Brian Justin Crum, Mika, Trevor Moran, and Mathew V) are returning to the chart with brand-new videos.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Thursday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).

  2. We suggest (in order) :
    - Turkish singer Mabel Matiz with "Comme Un Animal" (he sings in french to say he wants to f*** someone like an animal, probably to avoid the turkish censorship)
    - Icelandic band Hatari featuring Palestinian singer Basahar Murad with "Klefi" (the MV was shot during the Eurovision Song Contest in Israel tthis year)
    - Lebanese band Mashrou'Leila with "Cavalry" (not sure that the MV goes perfectly with the song, but the song is awesome)
    - Will Young with "My Love" (waiting for his new album !)
    - Kim Petras with "Icy" (perhaps we will see her in concert in August)
    - Billy Porter with "Love Yourself" (a Pride song)

    1. Thank you! I did not have all of these and I will make sure they are on the list of eligible videos.

Hatari was already a likely entry for next weekend. (They were at #57 this week.)

I have been very busy lately and trying to keep up with all the new releases has been difficult, so I appreciate your suggestions very much!
