Chart Week 07 of 2022: 13 February

Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 music videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.

Chart Week #7 of 2022: Week of 13th February

Chart notes:
American singer/songwriter Wrabel (who's originally from Houston, Texas) moves into the #1 spot on the LGBT chart this weekend with "Wish You Well". At the beginning of the clip, Wrabel is surrounded by the aftermath of a party that's apparently ended without him: balloons and confetti litter the floor. As two dancers portray the push-and-pull of a difficult relationship, Wrabel puts on his coat to symbolize that he's ready to get out and ready to move on. Over the past four days, the video for "Wish You Well" has gained an additional 15,798 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 17.88% since the midweek's chart!).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend. Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Kany García climbs 9 notches to #7 with "Agüita E Coco". Also rising 9 spots (to #8) is Mexican musician Raymix with "Te Voy A Conquistar". They're joined in the Top 10 by American vocalist Ieuan (from San Francisco, California), who's moving up 2 places to #9 with "From Below".

Eight songs fall off the chart to make way for seven new songs and one re-entry. The highest debut this weekend was "No Pensar En Ti" by Spanish drag queen Chumina Power, entering the chart at #37. Chumina portrays a housekeeper in the clip, where she is witness to plenty of flirting between the wealthy family and their household staff. In the end, however, the women are shocked to find that it's the men who end up together. Over the past half-week, the video for "No Pensar En Ti" has gained an additional 315 YouTube views (which is a large increase of 10.31% over the previous chart period!).

Further down the chart, we have 6 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Spain, the U.S.A., Brazil, South Korea, and Israel:
  • Jedet (from Spain)
  • Davi Bandeira (from Brazil)
  • Griz (from Michigan, USA)
  • Trixie Mattel (from Wisconsin, USA)
  • OnlyOneOf (from South Korea)
  • Chen Aharoni (from Israel)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist & they must be available on YouTube.
