Chart notes:
British/Canadian musician Dion Yorkie reaches the #1 spot on the LGBT chart this weekend with "Sweet Peach", moving up one more place from the midweek's #2 position. Dion is originally from England, but he now resides in Toronto, Ontario. The track hasn't yet appeared on the official charts in Canada or in the U.K., but it has gotten as high as #12 on the iTunes chart in South Africa. Over the past four days, the video for "Sweet Peach" has gained an additional 1,612 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 5.05% since the midweek's chart).

Two videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend, both of which happen to be from American acts. Conan Gray (from Lemon Grove, California) climbs 5 notches to #7 with "Disaster". Kesha (from Brentwood, Tennessee) jumps ahead 10 spots to #8 with "Rich White Straight Men".

Fifteen songs fall off the chart to make way for fifteen new songs. The highest debut this weekend was "Shock" by English DJ/drag queen/producer Jodie Harsh, entering the chart at #32. Jodie says, "I've always been in the dance music world. Of course, I do drag and the way I present myself for shows is in make-up and a wig, but I feel like I've always had a specific sound. My label has never asked me to go and make some party anthem. But I'm always going to be influenced by disco and house, and my songs will always have a little bit of attitude. Everything will have a bit of bite." Over the past half-week, the video for "Shock" has gained an additional 795 YouTube views (which is an increase of 8.39% over the previous chart period).

Further down the chart, we have 14 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Brazil, England, the U.S.A., South Africa, Chile, Sweden, Bolivia, Switzerland, Spain, and Australia:
  • Nakhane (from South Africa)
  • Gloria Groove (from Brazil)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
