Midweek Chart: 06 July 2022

     Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 music videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.

Chart notes:
   American singer Trey Pearson (from Columbus, Ohio) earns his first #1 on the LGBT chart at midweek with "Piedmont Park", moving up 4 more places from the weekend's #5 position. A founding member of the Christian-rock band Everyday Sunday, Trey came out as gay in 2016 and launced a solo career as an independent artist. Over the past three days, the video for "Piedmont Park" has gained an additional 3,076 views on YouTube (which is a massive increase of 47.21% since the weekend's chart!).

   Four videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: Lithuanian musician Gabrielius Vagelis rebounds back up 7 positions to #8 with "Man Truksta Dienu". English vocalist Jamie Hannah leaps ahead 14 notches to #5 with "Bohemian Rhapsody". American singer Kehlani climbs 6 spots to #6 with "Melt". They're joined in the Top 10 by American singer Allison Ponthier (from Allen, Texas), who's moving up 8 more places to #10 with "Hollywood Forever Cemetery".

   Eight songs fall off the chart to make way for seven new songs and one re-entry. The highest debut at midweek was "Pies Rosados" by Chilean singer Reinder, entering the chart at #32. Over the past half-week, the video for "Pies Rosados" has gained an additional 5,087 YouTube views (which is an astounding increase of 74.46% over the previous chart period!).

   Further down the chart, we have six more debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the U.S.A., and Wales:

  • Lily Rose (from Georgia, USA)

Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
