Chart notes:
There were very few changes at the top of the LGBT chart this weekend, as Australian quartet Cub Sport hangs onto #1 with "Always Got the Love". In fact, all three of the midweek's Top 3 videos have exhibited very strong numbers in both viewcounts and votes, resulting in all three maintaining their same positions as at midweek. Cub Sport's latest single is currently at #2 on the Australian radio airplay chart. On the digital/streaming charts, the track has reached #1 in Sweden and has also reached the Top 10 in three other countries (#4 in Australia, #6 in Belgium, and #9 in New Zealand). Over the past four days, the video for "Always Got the Love" has gained an additional 61,434 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 11.42% since the midweek's chart!).

Just two videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend. Israeli musician Harel Skaat climbs 4 notches to #8 with "Bruch Haba Lleblagne". Spanish singer/songwriter Blas Cantó joins him in the Top 10, rising 6 more spots to #9 with "El Bueno Acaba Mal".

Eleven songs fall off the chart to make way for ten new songs and one re-entry. The highest debut this weekend was "Begin" by South Korean singer YooJung, entering the chart at #32. YooJung is the first member of the band OnlyOneOf to release a single as a solo artist. The accompanying video shows moments of closeness and hesitation between two men who are clearly attracted to each other. However they don't feel comfortable with being open about their sexuality and as the lyrics state in Korean, only when they are free of their own prejudices can the two of them have a beginning together. YooJung released a statement along with the video that reads, "Among the countless lovers in the world, there are also lovers that couldn't be blessed. For whatever reasons. Religious reasons, things like parents' disapproval. I dedicate this song to all those lovers who couldn't be blessed." Over the past half-week, the video for "Begin" has gained an additional 189,113 YouTube views (which is a massive increase of 15.07% over the previous chart period!).

Further down the chart, we have 9 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Brazil, the U.S.A., Germany, Italy, China, England, and Belgium:
  • The Aces (from Utah, USA)
  • Elliot Lee (from New York, USA)
  • Leopold (from Germany)
  • Immanuel Casto (from Italy)
  • Steam Powered Giraffe (from California, USA)
  • Alice Longyu Gao (originally from China & now living in the USA) & Oli Sykes (from England)
  • Johnny Hooker & Silva (both from Brazil)
  • Myylo (from Tennessee, USA)
  • Oscar And The Wolf (from Belgium)

Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a message on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
