Chart notes:
British singer/songwriter Rina Sawayama claims the #1 spot on the LGBT chart at midweek with "This Hell", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. Rina was born in Japan, but she moved to England with her family when she was just five years old. At the beginning of the song, Rina recalls seeing a religious poster condemning so-called sinners for their identities. She rebukes the hateful messaging with an eye roll, singing "Don't know what I did, but they seem pretty mad about it." Rina wrote in a statement that, "It's an important song for me, given the human rights that are being taken away from minorities at a rapid rate in the name of traditional religious beliefs, and more specifically I was thinking about the rights being taken away from the LGBTQ community when I wrote this song. When the world tells us we don't deserve love and protection, we have no choice but to give love and protection to each other. This hell is better with you." Over the past three days, the video for "This Hell" has gained an additional 68,518 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 3.06% since the weekend's chart).

Four videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: Swedish singer/songwriter Darin rebounds back up 7 positions to #10 with "Superstar". American singer John Duff (from Los Angeles, California) climbs 7 notches to #7 with "Is It a Sin?". French DJ/producer Kiddy Smile leaps ahead 12 places to #8 with "Sugar". They're joined in the Top 10 by American artist Todrick Hall (from Plainview, Texas), who's rising 10 spots to #9 with "Sorry Barbie".

Ten songs fall off the chart to make way for ten new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Till You Get There" by American country singer Ty Herndon, entering the chart at #28. Between 1995 and 2002, Ty racked up 17 hits on the official U.S. country chart (including three songs that reached #1). In 2014, he became the first mainstream American male country star to publicly come out as gay. Shortly afterwards, he hosted The Concert For Love and Acceptance, which is now an annual event and provides a stage for LGBTQ artists in the country genre. In 2020 Ty created The Foundation For Love And Acceptance to further his work with LGBTQ youth. This track is the first single off Ty's new album Jacob (released on July 15th), which is his first full-length studio album since 2016. Over the past half-week, the video for "Till You Get There" has gained an additional 2,183 YouTube views (which is a massive increase of 37.13% over the previous chart period!).

Further down the chart, we have 9 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., Turkey, Taiwan, Norway, Denmark, and England:
